Magical Mystery [Sewing] Tour
is how one of the contestants on the BBC2's Great British Sewing Bee referred to her dressmaking projects on tonight's programme.  It may not be a bone-fide Beatle reference but it certainly made me think of the song ... and the bus ... which my late partner, Mike, took great pleasure in riding on when it came to Hinckley several years ago.
